About Kristyna “Kris” Jones

Kristyna is a social enterprise strategist with over 20 years of experience in community development, economic revitalization, and education. She brings deep expertise in financial analysis, organizational strategy, project design, and cross-sector collaboration. As the Managing Principal and founder of K. Jones Advisors, she leads mission-driven organizations toward long-term sustainability through strategic planning, capital alignment, and operational excellence.

Kristyna is passionate about creating educational, economic, and cultural spaces that foster equity, belonging, and community power. She previously co-founded Brothers Empowered to Teach, a nationally recognized workforce initiative focused on increasing Black male representation in education. Her work sits at the intersection of finance and justice — helping institutions invest in people, place, and possibility.
